Our Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the art of Karate and other martial arts and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as teachers and also mentors.

Through extensive testing, certification and tournament level competition, our staff has attained mastery in this martial art and now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to their students.

Hanshi Ian Pollet  Hanshi Ian Pollet is the Head Instructor and Director of Pollet's Martial Arts Centre. He holds an 8th Degree Black Belt in Karate, an 8th Degree Black Belt in Kempo Jiu-Jitsu, a 5th Degree Black Belt in Okinawan Kobudo and Kru Muay Thai. He has dedicated his life to his love and passion of the Martial Arts, and is a true Master of the Arts. Hanshi Ian Pollet has won many State, National and World Titles over the years. He has produced many World Champions, and travelled with his students to South Africa, Okinawa, USA, Thailand, Taiwan, and plans to travel and compete in Spain later this year. He is the current ISKA World and Grand World Champion in Kata and Self Defence. In 1997 Hanshi Pollet was inducted into the Australian Martial Arts Hall of Fame. Shihan Ben Pollet  Shihan Ben Pollet is a 6th Degree Black Belt in Karate Jitsu. With three World Championships and 15 National Anzenbogu Championships, Shihan is an accomplished martial artist and competitor. Sensei Danny Crouch  Sensei Danny is a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Karate Jitsu, and qualified Muay Thai Trainer accredited through MTIA. Sensei Danny is the 2008 ISKA World Champion in Kata. He also assisted Hanshi Ian Pollet in the Self Defence Division winning the 2008 ISKA World Cup Self Defence Championship and the 2008 ISKA World Cup Self Defence Grand Championship. Sensei Danny is a Full-Time Instructor for Pollet's Martial Arts Centre teaching in all Full-Time Dojos across Bathurst, Orange and Dubbo. Sensei Ben Quarmby  Sensei Ben Quarmby is a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Karate Jitsu, Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and current State Boxing Champion. He has been training with Hanshi Ian Pollet for over nine years, and recently travelled to Brazil to train in Jiu Jitsu, then Thailand to compete in the WMF Muay Thai World Championships. Sensei Cory Schumacher  Sensei Cory Schumacher is a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Karate Jitsu, and qualified Muay Thai Trainer accredited through MTIA. He is the current ISKA World Koshiki Champion and ISKA Grand World Koshiki Champion. Sensei Cory has travelled to Okinawa to represent PMAC and Australia in the 2009 World Karate Tournament, and Thailand to compete in the WMF Amateur Muay Thai Tournament, where he was placed 4th out of 16 competitors. Sensei Ben Millard  Sensei Ben is a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Karate Jitsu, and qualified Muay Thai Trainer accredited through MTIA. Sensei Ben has been training with Hanshi Ian Pollet and PMAC for over nine years, and he is well known for his grappling skills and strong karate basics. Sensei Ben is a Full-Time Instructor for Pollet's Martial Arts Centre teaching in all Full-Time Dojos across Bathurst, Orange and Dubbo. Sensei Ellen Rossi  Sensei Ellen is a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Karate Jitsu. She has been training with Hanshi Ian Pollet for over nine years. She specialises in Kata, Karate Basics and Weapons. She has won numerous Kata and Weapons State and National tournaments, and placed 3rd in Kata in the ISKA World Cup 2008. Sempai Luke Read  Sempai Luke is a 1st Degree Black Belt in Karate Jitsu, and is a certified Muay Thai Trainer accredied through MTIA. Sempai Luke has been with Pollet's Martial Arts Centre for over eight years. Sempai Luke is the also the current ISKA Koshiki Champion. Sempai Luke is a Full-Time Instructor for Pollet's Martial Arts Centre teaching across Bathurst, Orange and Dubbo Full-Time Dojos. Sempai Mark Szalajko  Sempai Mark Szalajko is a 1st Degree Black Belt in Karate Jitsu, and runs the newly opened Harrington Park Dojo. Sempai Mark was inducted in the ISKA Hall of Fame in 2009. He was the Top male Competitor in his Black Belt Division for the year, and remains the undefeated 2009 Koshiki Champion. Sempai Angel Towney  Sempai Angel Towney is a 1st Degree Black Belt in Karate Jitsu, and qualified Muay Thai Trainer accredited through MTIA.
